About the Database

We encourage agencies to review their listings and update them as needed. If you see a listing that needs to be updated, or you want to suggest an agency that is not included in The Resource Book, go to the homepage and click Add/Correct Info.

All requests to add or update listings are reviewed and fact-checked by Monterey County staff. Approved changes are added to The Resource Book database regularly. The entire add/update process may take six to eight weeks.

Monterey County's database contains government agencies and programs as well as nonprofit organizations. A small number of for-profit agencies that have worked with the county on a long-term basis also have been included. All new agencies added to the database are first reviewed by Monterey County staff members.
